Character creation

First decide the characters ancestry and traits.

Decide the character's ancestry and it's traits, does not have to be in a particular order.


Ancestry
Choose an ancestry for your character.

Traits
Every character gets 6 points to choose traits with. Every trait will have a listed cost, add all the numbers and that is the cost (Ex. 'Cost: 1 Body, 2 Mind' would cost 1 + 2 = 3).

Stats
Add what your stats are from traits and ancestry, all stats start at 1, no stat can go over. If you have a stat over +4 redistribute the point to the other stats. Now increase them by a total of 4 more.

Substats
Then when you are done with the above steps can increase the value of your substats by a total of 20. They all start at 1.

Equipment & Techniques
The GM will tell you how much equipment and how many techniques you can choose.

Flavor

There is no correct way to make a character but here are some questions to help you:

  • What is their name?
  • How did they learn their techniques?
  • Do they have any history with their equipment?
  • Where do they come from?
  • Any important people in their life? (family, friends, enemies)
  • What do they look like?
